This is the Montessori large movable alphabet.

What you CAN create at home is LETTER-MATCH. Use a paper plate or circle of cardboard and draw objects beginning with the 26 letters of the Alphabet, then label some wooden pegs with the corresponding letters. The children can match the letters on the pegs to the pictures on the perimeter of the plate. This is excellent letter and sound consolidation.
