Children who transition from a Montessori preschool to mainstream education often excel. This is because Montessori children tend to develop strong self-directed learning skills, independence, and a love for exploration.

The concrete learning foundation laid in Montessori education often proves beneficial in the long run. That said, my 6 year olds are very close to my heart and I miss each and every one of them when they go to "big school".
