Today's activity - Letter Puzzle

It is so rewarding to witness the spontaneous concentration in children as they embark on an activity, or as Dr Montessori would have said as they begin "a work". Children thrive on self-chosen tasks and they enjoy being left alone to complete tasks from beginning to end, Montessori activities have a in-built control of error which shows children themselves when they have made a mistake and it is visibly evident how to fix the error. So children are never ashamed of making mistakes, mistakes are rather viewed as lessons, so much better this way.
